TRAVEL

Las Vegas

This was my second time visiting the magical city – Las Vegas. Back in December 31, 2014, my friends and I spent a week in Vegas to celebrate 2015’s New Year.

Summers in Vegas are extremely hot, exceeding 42 degrees everyday. We spent most of our time indoors, so the heat didn’t affect us much.

Hotel

Most hotels in Las Vegas offer complimentary shuttle services. These shuttles are available from morning till night and the service is exceptional.

Our hotel’s LIMO was already waiting for us at the airport.

The High Roller

The High Roller in Las Vegas is the world’s tallest observation wheel. I didn’t have the opportunity to ride it last time. Now, my wish has finally come true.

Casinos

Wynn Las Vegas

The carousel and hot air balloon designs at Wynn have captivated me the most.

The Parasol bar patio was elegant with the great view of the artificial waterfalls. It was a perfect lounge for relaxing while enjoying cocktails.

The Venetian Las Vegas

It features a themed environment inspired by Venice Italy, which includes indoor and outdoor canals with gondola rides. The indoor ceiling color is painted in shades of light blue to mimic the sky and enhance the illusion of being outdoors in Venice.

Paris Las Vegas

Paris Las Vegas is a mini version of Parisian landmarks within its resort complex. The most prominent of these is a half-scale replica of the Eiffel Tower. You can find other Paris landmarks like the Arc de Triomphe and the Paris Opera House throughout the property. The interior of the resort replicated Parisian streets with French-inspired restaurants, boutiques, and entertainment options.

Excalibur Hotel Las Vegas

Excalibur Hotel characterized by its castle-like architecture and decor inspired by the legend of King Arthur and his sword, Excalibur. It’s like being in a fairy tale.

Luxor Hotel Las Vegas

Luxor Hotel is known for its Egyptian theme and black glass exterior. The intricate Egyptian motifs and designs are very impressive. We had our lunch here as well. Dining at buffets is a distinctive feature in Vegas.

Taking the monorail from Excalibur will quickly get you to the Luxor Hotel

Flamingo Hotel Las Vegas

Flamingo Las Vegas is home to a habitat that houses real flamingos, among other wildlife. The habitat is a lush tropical garden area within the resort that features waterfalls, ponds, and various types of exotic birds.

I adopted an adorable flamingo toy here.

The Mirage Hotel Las Vegas

The Mirage volcano show is a popular attraction located in front of The Mirage Hotel. It takes place in the evenings and it’s free for anyone passing by to enjoy. The show features a man-made volcano that erupts with fire, smoke, and water effects, creating a dramatic and visually stunning display.

New York Hotel Las Vegas and its surroundings

New York Hotel replicates the skyline and landmarks of New York City. The Roller Coaster at New York is a notable attraction, offering a thrilling ride around the resort’s exterior. I haven’t had the opportunity to ride the roller coaster on this trip.

Caesars Palace Las Vegas

The Forum Shops at Caesars is a popular upscale shopping destination within the resort. It is also known for its popular and well-regarded buffet, which offers a wide selection of dishes and cuisines for guests to enjoy. It has gained a reputation as one of the standout buffet experiences in the city.

Fountains of Bellagio

Fountains of Bellagio is a spectacular water show located in front of the Bellagio Hotel. The Fountains shows occur in the afternoons and evenings. It’s a free attraction that draws crowds to the Strip.
